Owner Cynthia Derosier has been crafting since childhood. She has become an expert crocheter and creates her own designs. She started the company while getting ideas to help out a local organization that rescues abandoned bunnies. She has three rescues that help her craft by chewing the paper off her yarn. She has expanded the crochet to woodworking as well.
She has expanded her work to Jewelry and beading. Cynthia first started beading at age 13. She loves to create new designs.
Cynthia’s goal is to make unique items and also provide custom orders for people so they can have a quality hand made item to own or to gift.
Cynthia donates 20% of her profits to the rescue. This means that not only are you purchasing a quality item but you’re donating to charity at the same time.
About the Bunnies
Cooper and Fiona are bonded. Cooper is a rescue from Columbus House Rabbit Society. He is 7 years old and loves treats. Fiona is 6 years old and comes from Capital Area Human Society where she was adopted and return several times before finding her forever home and mate.
Chance was rescued from by Cynthia from a home where he was kept in a garage with the family SUV parked right up against his dirty cage. He now spends his days lounging under Cynthia’s office chair helping her work. He loves to rest his head.
Velvet was rescued by Cynthia when someone let her go at a very busy intersection down the road from her home. Velvet now lives a life of luxury and love. Cynthia officially adopted Velvet because of how shy she is around other people. She is not shy however when Cynthia is recording YouTube videos. Watch them to see glimpses into Velvet’s unique personality.
Crystal, Piper and Bailey are a trio. Crystal was found during a below zero spell during the winter right before Christmas. She immediately gave birth to 6 babies. Sadly all but two died. Those two Piper and Bailey found their way into the rescue and into Cynthia’s home. She fostered and cared for mom and babies and now they are all grown up and the three are up for adoption.
Bella came to Cynthia as “Bitey Bella” because she would attack anyone that entered her space. Cynthia put Bella in her bedroom knowing that it could be disastrous at night. After many wounds and lots of love, Cynthia turned Bella into a snuggle bunny. Bella now enjoys all the comforts of a queen. She even sleeps on a velvet comforter on the bed. The original fosterers of this bunny has said she is a completely different bunny.
